Tropic Relief

In zones where the humidity and the temperature hover around 100, it is necessary to slow the pace and enjoy the cooling effect of water.  A dip in a pool, where the water is less than 90 degrees and the coastal breezes are blowing, will usually do the trick.  No worries here.  Just relax and forget about the crumbling world situation for a little while.  I hope my little poem will take you there.

I lie adrift in an azure pool
with arms out stretched
in weightlessness
and shut my eyes behind
my shades
and gaze through eyelids
red with blood at
changing patterns light and dark.

The sun bares down
from cloudless sky
gulf breezes slowly
turn me round
and I can feel
my skin turn brown
as afternoon slips into night
and with it every troubling thought
fades on the gentle swells.

Behind the Mask

In case this is your first time to visit this blog, let me point out a few things.  There are no commercials here.  I choose not to advertise for anyone because I speak the truth and some who prefer more socially and politically correct jargon might try and influence my subject matter.  If you take time to read the content on this blog you will find it is blatantly honest.  You are encouraged to comment.  I post all comments regardless of their point of view as long as the person posting has used some identifiable medium and has refrained from profanity.

I have identified myself in picture and description and have made no effort to hide where I am.  I do this because I want people to know the source and feel comfortable in commenting.  Just the other day I got a mention on another blog here in the Valley.  I looked at the content on this blog and found it to be a hodge podge of sophomoric innuendo.  I received an e-mail directing me to the blog from a person using the first name "Steve" and a temporary e-mail address which had been disabled by the time I responded.  The blog purports to be located in Brownsville but is actually in McAllen, TX.  All of the participants use pseudonyms as do most of those posting comments.  Apparently this is cutting edge and allows those who know only the vernacular of the ignorant to spew their nonsensical bile.

I use this example to highlight what journalism has become today.  It is a reflection of progressive politics.  The truth is hidden if it doesn't foist whatever person or agenda the controlling party desires to elevate.  The press is a complicit functionary in this cabal.  We already have proof of their clandestine plotting.  I believe with all my heart that the recent military reports leak was planned by the current administration.  They have no qualms about using the complicit minions in the computer industry to be their mules in getting information like this out.  It does seem strange the only information being leaked is from the Democrat controlled congress days of George W. Bush.  The masks you use are not very successful because you are otherwise naked.  I'm almost positive competent investigation of the oil leak and the release of the Lockerbie bomber will have some connection to the people who are the current puppeteers of BHO. Why? Because it so closely fits the already stated agenda for taking the United States into third world status.

If you choose, as I do, to continue to defy the party line, the undercast of minor characters in the blogosphere  will label you as racist.  This is the new "R" word of the Obama Oligarchy.  It doesn't matter that in truth they are the "R's" and they seek to deflect your attention from their obvious bias and bigotry by projection.  No one is fooled people.  You are naked.  The King has no clothes and neither do his loyal subjects.

To avoid situations in which you might make mistakes may be the biggest mistake of all.    - Peter McWilliams

Remembering the Clintons

They keep rolling out our former pardoned felon, and impeached but not removed, president to raise money for humanitarian and political events.  I can remember how despicable he and his wife, Hillary, were when they occupied the White House.  They brought new meaning to the term "White Trash".  Now the former New York Senator runs around the world hiding after having lost to Barack Hussein Obama.  As his Secretary of State I'm sure she seethes in the knowledge that she was tossed aside by the very communist terrorists she worked so hard to defend in her early days as a political activist lawyer.  They wanted a candidate who didn't have the anchor of her husband Bill Clinton hanging around their neck.

But, if you are ever inclined to feel sorry for her and maybe give her any consideration let me remind you of just how offensive she really is.

"Where is the G-damn f**king flag? I want the G-damn f**king flag up every f**king morning at f**king sunrise."
(From the book "Inside The White House" by Ronald Kessler, p. 244 - Hillary to the staff at the Arkansas Governor's mansion on Labor Day, 1991)

"You sold out, you mother f**ker! You sold out!"
>From the book "Inside" by Joseph Califano, p. 213 - Hillary yelling at Democrat lawyer.

"It's been said, and I think it's accurate, that my husband was obsessed by terrorism in general and al-Qaida in particular."
(Hillary telling a post-9/11 world what a 'great' commander in chief her husband was; Dateline, NBC 4/16/2004.)

"I have to admit that a good deal of what my husband and I have learned [about Islam] has come from our daughter."
(TruthInMedia.org 8/8/1999 - Hillary at a White House function, proudly tells some Muslim groups she is gaining a greater appreciation of Islam because Chelsea was then taking a class on the "religion of peace")

F**k off! It's enough that I have to see you shit-kickers every day, I'm not going to talk to you too!! Just do your G*damn job and keep your mouth shut."
(From the book "American Evita" by Christopher Anderson, p. 90 - Hillary to her State Trooper bodyguards after one of them greeted her with "Good morning."

"You f**king idiot."
(From the book "Crossfire" p. 84 - Hillary to a State Trooper who was driving her to an event.)

"If you want to remain on this detail, get your f**king ass over here and grab those bags!"
(From the book "The First Partner" p. 259 - Hillary to a Secret Service Agent who was reluctant to carry her luggage because he wanted to keep his hands free in case of an incident.)

"Get f**ked! Get the f**k out of my way!!! Get out of my face!!!"(From the book "Hillary's Scheme" p. 89 - Hillary's various comments to her Secret Service detail agents.)

"Stay the f**k back, stay the f**k away from me! Don't come within ten yards of me, or else! Just f**king do as I s ay, Okay!!!?"
(From the book "Unlimited Access", by Clinton FBI Agent in Charge, Gary Aldrige, p. 139 - Hillary screaming at her Secret Service detail.)

"Many of you are well enough off that [President Bush's] tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
(Hillary grandstanding at a fund raising speech in San Francisco; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)

"Why do I have to keep proving to people that I am not a liar?!"(From the book "The Survivor," by John Harris, p. 382 - Hillary in her 2000 Senate campaign)

"Where's the miserable c*ck sucker?"
(From the book "The Truth About Hillary" by Edward Klein, p. 5 - Hillary shouting at a Secret Service officer)

"No matter what you think about the Iraq war, there is one thing we can all agree on for the next days - we have to salute the courage and bravery of those who are risking their lives to vote and those brave Iraqi and American soldiers fighting to protect their right to vote."
(Was posted on Hillary Clinton's senate.gov web site on 1/28/05)

"Put this on the ground! I left my sunglasses in the limo. I need those sunglasses. We need to go back!"
(From the book "Dereliction of Duty" p. 71-72 - Hillary to Marine One helicopter pilot to turn back while en route to Air Force One.)

A right-wing network was after his presidency...including perverting the Constitution."
(To Barbara Walters about the Republicans who impeached her husband; 20/20, ABC 6/8/2003.)

"What are you doing inviting these people into my home? These people are our enemies! They are trying to destroy us!"
(From the book "The Survivor" by John Harris, p. 99 - Hillary screaming to an aide, when she found out that some Republicans had been invited to the Clinton White House)

"I mean, you've got a conservative and right-wing press presence with really nothing on the other end of the political spectrum."
(C-Span, 1/19/1997 - Hillary complains about the mainstream media, which are all conservatives in her opinion)

"Come on Bill, put your dick up! You can't f**k her here!!"
(From the book "Inside The White House" by Ronald Kessler, p. 243 - Hillary to Gov. Clinton when she spots him talking with an attractive female at an Arkansas political rally)

"You know, I'm going to start thanking the woman who cleans the restroom in the building I work in. I'm going to start thinking of her as a human being"
-Hillary Clinton
(From the book "The Case Against Hillary Clinton" by Peggy Noonan, p. 55)

"You show people what you're willing to fight for when you fight your friends."
(From the book "The Agenda" by Bob Woodward, ch. 14)

"We are at a stage in history in which remolding society is one of the great challenges facing all of us in the West."
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 119 - During her 1993 commencement address at the University of Texas)

"The only way to make a difference is to acquire power"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 68 - Hillary to a friend before starting law school.)

"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices.... Government has to make those choices for people"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her expensive, disastrous taxpayer-funded health care plan)

"I am a fan of the social policies that you find in Europe"
Hillary in 1996 From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 76 - Hillary in 1996)

What a peach!  Makes you proud to have her representing us world wide doesn't it?

Time Marches On.

I was watching the summer activities of people across the country as I traveled recently.  They were doing what free Americans do.  I wondered as I traveled along, how many were concerned about things in Washington, D. C. or in our war zones.  It appears to me if things take over a few months to settle, many Americans tune out.  They just don't think about the problems anymore.  The sound bite answer is best followed by a sound bite solution.  The idea of a prolonged conflict can no longer be tolerated by the "Reality Show" crowd.  If daddy can't plug the oil well in two days, its time to find someone to blame for the delay.  If natural disasters occur, then someone must be blamed when people aren't taken care of immediately.

We are a people of hype and drama.  I can't abide the national news on any level.  The repetition, rude "talk over" interruptions, and endless speculation about increasing doom are the order of the day.  Even the weather people try and talk tropical depressions up into CAT V hurricanes, and seem disappointed when they fizzle.  Now we find that a sizable segment of the MSM  was engaged in bending the news to guide the outcome of a national election.

And what about Shirley Sherrod?  Can you say racist to the core?  No apologies needed in this case regardless of what media source you subscribe to.  This woman is an embarrassment on any level you can think of.  She should have never been in government service.  However, in the current regime, she is a model of her president - a bigoted racist of the highest order.  The complete tape (which the NAACP owned but failed to provide) shows no hint of change in attitude or behavior and stands as clear evidence of prohibited activity by any government employee.

And what about our Military men and women?  We will never make a workable democracy in Afghanistan or Iraq.  These are stone age tribesmen with a stone age religion of hate and degradation.  They will be fighting with one another until the end of time.  The best we can hope for is to damage them beyond repair and pull out.  In the meantime, we can ban all Muslims and Muslim activity from within our national borders.  A religion designed to kill all who don't believe and submit, is not covered under the freedom of religion protections of the United States Constitution.  No other group bent on the destruction of America would be allowed to continue operations here.  We could certainly use our military's help within our own borders to help bring the increasing dangers of an out of control illegal immigrant population under control, and to smash any intrusion by our not so friendly neighbor Mexico.  We should bring suit against the government of Mexico for failing to provide sufficiently for its own people.  We should also withdraw aid from all Central and South American countries who are controlled by leftist regimes and who show disdain for the big Uncle who has shored them up for all these years.

Some solutions aren't pretty, but if we don't act swiftly and harshly the problems will continue to blossom.

Don't give up on the fight.  It will be long and ugly with this current Oligarchy.  Don't shoot your friends for minor differences.  It will take all right thinking Americans to overcome the damage being done by this illegitimate Coup.

Racism

I was just thinking....  I don't know about you, but this back and forth name calling and labeling has gone just about far enough.  Very few people in this country are "racist".  The Nazis, who were killing people because they were Jews, fit the definition to a tee.  However, Muslims who kill infidels (everyone who doesn't believe like they do) are not because it is not about race.  It is certainly worth our time to take action against such rash behavior, but we seem more concerned about people who call each other names.  Our current behavior is certainly bizarre to the point of absurdity on this matter.

Can we be honest here for just one nano-second?  How many races do we have in this country?  Almost all known on the face of the Earth have come to our great country and found a home.  Those who have immigrated legally, as well as those who have been forced to come here, have made their mark on our history.  How many of those experienced slavery or slave like conditions upon arrival here?  Looking back through history, many could claim that they were brought here as indentured servants, workers paid little or nothing for their labor, slaves, those driven to reservations, and a variety of other unjust situations.  Many were shunned for because of their place of origin, their level of poverty, their lack of education, their different appearance, their strange cultural practices, and almost anything else you can think of that set them apart.

Almost everyone in this country can find blood relations to a variety of these original immigrants and native occupants if they trace their genealogy.  The vast majority worked their way out of the ghettos and into positions of respect in spite of how people first viewed them.  They became accepted members of society because they ignored what people said about them and became successful.  That is why we love our free Republic so much.  Anyone can make it here if they work hard and try to fit in.  Most of us remember our parents telling us that, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me."  We would do well to remember that today.

If you examine successful people in all the various racial and ethnic groupings in this country you will find individuals who are accepted.  I don't ever hear these people whining because someone called them a name. The people who constantly whine and carp about their condition, position, or what someone is calling them are those who have either not made any effort to better themselves, or those who by reason of special treatment and unfair advantage over the remainder of the population have risen to levels of demand in their jobs far beyond their levels of competency.  They are especially evident in government service where they are sometimes called on to speak in public forums.  They only serve to reinforce stereotypical assumptions which are then generalized to those in their governmentally generated grouping.  They hurt those in their grouping who have made it on merit.

These are the people who we see on television, radio, and mob scenes proclaiming some racial bias by the remainder of the broad spectrum of the population who worked for what they got.   The government caused this type of behavior by passing poorly thought out, knee jerk, legislation designed to take care of problems that would have worked themselves out naturally.  The natural process would have taken less time and would have had much better results.  Because they forced the issue, they created more problems than anyone could have imagined.  The government, in its lack of wisdom and foresight, continues to pile on the ridiculous stop-gap fixes which do nothing more than exacerbate the problems.   Where do you think our current financial woes come from?  Where do stupid unnecessary laws like those on "Hate Crimes" come from?  Where do we get embarrassing politicians who don't have a grasp of basic knowledge common to grade school children?  You know the answer to these questions.  When people who are products of this system become leaders in our government they become punitive overlords with a single agenda.  They want to punish everyone who achieved some success on merit, and they deflect any criticism or challenge by playing the "Race Card."  They know their backgrounds and accomplishments are puffed up by unfair jumps and give aways that can't stand examination in the light of day.  They are the true "racists" in our country today, and we are being ruined by their incompetence.

Finally!

Finally a toy that makes sense.  Here is the latest offering for the 2010 Christmas Season.  Now maybe you'll be able to follow all the absurd statements president Barack Hussein Obama makes during his teleprompted speeches.  To follow up on that I'm going to reprint one of the best short articles I've read recently explaining things the Democrats in Washington, D.C. can't seem to wrap their short sighted little minds around.  This is more for their benefit than yours.  I'm sure you've already figured this out.  The next time you hear BHO, lying Joe Biden, or any other party hack blame the Bush administration for the current financial situation, you just direct them to Pappy's Place for the correct explanation.

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party. They controlled the budget process for FY 2008 and FY 2009, as well as FY 2010 and FY 2011. In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the FY 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete FY 2009. Let's remember what the deficits looked like during that period:    (below)

Thanks for waiting.

Thanks for waiting.  Bebe and I traveled to Wyoming, Montana, and all points in between.  While we were gone we watched and listened to very little news.  What a pleasant relief.  I've returned and found that nothing much has changed.  A retired plumber provided the idea that stopped the BP oil leak, and the Democrats have ramped up their lies to the point of nausea.  I did get my teeth replaced and repaired.  I'm relearning how to chew on both sides of my mouth again.  Thinking Americans are still engaged in righting our listing ship of State while long ensconced politicians continue to ignore and minimize their influence.  I hope this proves to be their undoing in November.  Massachusetts proves once again that even their conservative Republican choices are nothing more than Democrats using the name, Republican.  I really think we should cut the Northeast off from all carbon based sources of power and fuel they don't produce themselves.  That should go for anyone, including D.C. who wants to tax and regulate the carbon based fuel sources out of existence before we have a viable alternate source.  We passed thousands of wind generators in the wide open spaces of the West.  I understand the cost for each unit is somewhere in the neighborhood of five million dollars.  One wind generator produces enough electricity for 80 households and has a projected life of about five years.  Does this sound cost effective to you?  Besides, the visual pollution is extreme.  We don't know what the all the environmental effects are yet, but some studies suggest the ground below the generators is made unusable.  Of course the people on the east and west coasts don't want any oil wells, coal mines, wind generators, or refineries messing up their self proclaimed pristine environments.  I say fine.  Live with what you have.  If you want to return to the dark ages that's your business.  I'm having to try and focus as I write this because the wrecking crew led by the puppet leader Obama is active in all areas as they lie and connive  their way into every aspect of our lives.  I'm reloading. The blog, Right Turns Only has a good piece on how this administration is destroying business and commerce in the U. S.

The auto Industry bailout is now being examined closely and new information is available which shows that the closing of certain dealerships by Chrysler was not done by the automaker as first reported, but rather by the Czar in charge of such things.  New evidence shows the closures of dealerships may have been done on the basis of how much was donated to candidates other than Obama rather than on financial data related to the strength of these dealerships.  How much more corruption will we tolerate before we derail this illegitimate government?

College isn't the place to go for ideas.

Have you figured it out yet?

It was blatantly evident to me before the election that the empty suit, Barack Hussein Obama, was just a half black man with a racist agenda disguised in the clever nothingness of political hype.  With evidence mounting by the minute, those who supported him continue to declare his superior intellect in an effort to shore up their poor selection.  However, his actions to the contrary are overwhelming.  His racist Attorney General, Eric Holder, and others too numerous to name, are showing daily how they plan to punish White America for perceived injustices of long gone decades.  At the same time they are daily killing the Golden Goose which has been responsible for their livelihood (taxpayer dollars) all their lives.  While the complicit national media vilifies Robert Byrd, (D)  (following his death) for his segregationist stance during the 1940's, they completely ignore the monumental racist and socialist agenda of our current president.  While BHO's approval numbers are sliding almost as fast as our free republic, they will soon be in free fall when all Americans feel to smothering burden of increased taxes in an already depressed economy.  Where are the checks and balances of our government?  They are lost in the nothingness of our liberal courts and spineless representation.

http://rightrightnow.blogspot.com/2010/07/obama-great-jobs-killer.html  Here is a great blog post by Paul Cruce, on the impostor who would be president.

The democracy will cease to exist
when you take away from those
who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

Thomas Jefferson

I predict future happiness for
Americans if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people under the
pretense of taking care of them.

Thomas Jefferson

My advice to those in positions of responsibility in our government is to force the release of all the protected documentation related to the past of Barack Hussein Obama and make sure he is a legitimate president before we move one more step down this pathway to perdition.  A clerk in the lowest position in government service couldn't get an employment interview without providing the information our president has refused to produce.  Why should we as taxpayers have to suffer while our country is destroyed?  If the man has no legitimate claim to the presidency, then all the legislation he has signed thus far should be null and void.

To compel a man to subsidize with
his taxes the propagation of ideas which he
disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

Thomas Jefferson

Let's heed these words and take decisive action soon.

We the people....

I don't know about you, but I'm beginning to get more than just a little tired of this worthless excuse for a leader. We had a political cartoon in our paper this morning typical of the ill informed voting base we have here.  It portrayed the Arizona governor as hyping the threat of illegal aliens to the rest of the United States.  Let me tell you this, Arizona isn't the only sieve along the border.  We are well aware of the influx of peoples of all nationalities through our portion of the border.  I have seen middle eastern males, Asians,  and all manner of people from Central and South America coming through this gateway.  Let me give you some facts:  Some of these people are coming here to find work.  Many others are running from the law enforcement authorities in their own country of origin.  Mexico has no middle class, and their leaders don't give a rip about anyone who doesn't have lots of money.  The more of this class leaving their country, the better for them.  And lastly, those who would do us harm (terrorists) have easy access through this porous
frontier.

Lie:  We need their cheap labor.  Fact: Their presence here comes with a price tag far greater than any savings we might see in their hourly pay scale.  They bring their families over with them and we must clothe, feed, educate, and provide medical care for them.  They send a good portion of their earnings to family members outside the country because they can subsist on hand outs here.  They also pay not one red cent in taxes, so their hourly income is increased at least one third over legal residents, and U. S. citizens.  Some carry diseases we have eradicated for the most part in our country.  Some are violent criminals and, will in all likelihood, come into contact with our law enforcement officers and prison systems.  This further strains our already bulging legal system.  We must stem the ever increasing tide, and we must do it in a harsh and impressive manner real soon.

I think all border States should ban together and do their own enforcement.  I am not pleased that Texas has not taken on the Federal Government as Arizona has.  We are given half truths (The same kind Eve received from the serpent in the Garden of Eden) by those who would put their own political interests above the best interest of our free nation.  The following cartoon illustrates this admirably:

Can you believe we can't muster enough brave men to put a stop to this kind of double speak and lying?  We are waiting for those in elected office to step up and say enough is enough.  It's not enough for Republicans to act alone.  These are matters of National Security.  Members of both houses must ban together to stop this radical move to take over our national interests.  We must block the nomination of judges to the Supreme Court who have no judicial experience.  The people should nominate judges who have demonstrated their love for this great country, and jurists who will act in accordance with the rule of law outlined in our U. S. Constitution.

Thank you Arizona for taking a stand.  I say it is time for all the States in this United States to stand united under the sovereignty granted by the 10th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution:  Amendment 10; The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, or prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. We can stop this runaway president and his lackeys  and minions by taking action ourselves.
