The president continues to amaze us with his "brilliant" speechifying. While offering not one hint of a plan of his own, this genius continues to blame anyone but himself or his party, for the ridiculous state of the economy. His only solution, as delivered through his "Opie Taylorish" press secretary, is more taxes, more government intervention, and more regulation to create jobs and stimulate the economy. Even though this has been tried on numerous occasions by other leaders of his ilk, it has never created one job or increased government revenues. However, we can count on the most of the others outside the executive branch for their spineless support of whatever seems to fill their pockets and keep them in favor of the ruling Oligarchy.
Even after being rebuffed on numerous occasions, the Supreme Court of the United States continues to do what politically appointed hacks do best, and that is go along with the people who appointed them. Thus our U. S. Constitution is minimized and rendered useless to protect us against the very kinds of tyranny it was designed to hold back. That leaves the 535 representatives in both houses to protect their pork at all costs. The limited roll of government has now become a huge governmental "nanny" that controls almost every aspect of our lives through endless laws, tomes of regulations, presidential edicts, burgeoning taxes, and bullying threats. The institution we call government doesn't create anything but a huge machine capable of taking our hard earned tax dollars and turning them into a pitiful and useless pittance.
And, while the fires of our demise are roaring, our president bleeds his rich sycophants for $38,000 dollars a plate so he can confuse enough deluded and ignorant people to get this position back for another term. Let's pray to almighty God for a leader with some principles, leadership skills, and a backbone of iron to stop this run away behemoth.

Thanks for waiting.
Thanks for waiting. Bebe and I traveled to Wyoming, Montana, and all points in between. While we were gone we watched and listened to very little news. What a pleasant relief. I've returned and found that nothing much has changed. A retired plumber provided the idea that stopped the BP oil leak, and the Democrats have ramped up their lies to the point of nausea. I did get my teeth replaced and repaired. I'm relearning how to chew on both sides of my mouth again. Thinking Americans are still engaged in righting our listing ship of State while long ensconced politicians continue to ignore and minimize their influence. I hope this proves to be their undoing in November. Massachusetts proves once again that even their conservative Republican choices are nothing more than Democrats using the name, Republican. I really think we should cut the Northeast off from all carbon based sources of power and fuel they don't produce themselves. That should go for anyone, including D.C. who wants to tax and regulate the carbon based fuel sources out of existence before we have a viable alternate source. We passed thousands of wind generators in the wide open spaces of the West. I understand the cost for each unit is somewhere in the neighborhood of five million dollars. One wind generator produces enough electricity for 80 households and has a projected life of about five years. Does this sound cost effective to you? Besides, the visual pollution is extreme. We don't know what the all the environmental effects are yet, but some studies suggest the ground below the generators is made unusable. Of course the people on the east and west coasts don't want any oil wells, coal mines, wind generators, or refineries messing up their self proclaimed pristine environments. I say fine. Live with what you have. If you want to return to the dark ages that's your business. I'm having to try and focus as I write this because the wrecking crew led by the puppet leader Obama is active in all areas as they lie and connive their way into every aspect of our lives. I'm reloading. The blog, Right Turns Only has a good piece on how this administration is destroying business and commerce in the U. S.
The auto Industry bailout is now being examined closely and new information is available which shows that the closing of certain dealerships by Chrysler was not done by the automaker as first reported, but rather by the Czar in charge of such things. New evidence shows the closures of dealerships may have been done on the basis of how much was donated to candidates other than Obama rather than on financial data related to the strength of these dealerships. How much more corruption will we tolerate before we derail this illegitimate government?

Using Your Talent
I was sitting around this morning just admiring my latest body job, and I thought how nice it is to have enough talent to do jobs yourself. Who wants to hire professionals when, with a few basic tools, you can do the job and save tons of money? Bebe will have to get in and out on the driver's side, but I don't think she'll mind when she finds out how little it cost. Wish our government could be as frugal. It amazes me when politicians claiming to be Republican can only maintain their position on conservative issues and values for minutes after a victory. We have Kay Bailey Hutchison coming back to Texas after 17 or so years in Washington, D.C. and talking bad about the job our current governor Rick Perry has done. In addition she is calling for term limits. Where were you Kay for the last seventeen years? Your most recent vote with the turncoats in the Senate concerning the Health Care Bill shows where you stand/don't stand. We don't need you in Texas. Rick is doing just fine without you. Just retire and move to San Francisco or Las Vegas.
And what's with the new strong talking RINO (Republican in name only) McCain? He's strong until presented with the opportunity to reach across the isle and give away his conservative leanings in order to be seen as bi-partisan. Bi-partisan to a Democrat means you either vote like me or I'll have some Union thug bust your knee caps. What bi-partisan should mean is, right thinking statesmen fighting for what they think is right and making sure no underhanded pork barrel dealings come into the mix. Then they should get together and make sure they are allowed by the U. S. Constitution to do what they are doing. After that they should have a legal and decent bill. Everyone is now touting the Massachusetts comprehensive Health Care Model, but very little is known about it because it hasn't been in existence long enough to evaluate properly. Health Care is outside the scope of what the Federal Government is allowed to do, and therefore falls to the various States to act on or not as they see fit. If your State wants to march down the socialist isle, let the voters decide. Not all States are obligated to follow suit. If you are a Republican and desire to stay in office, you should be fighting the battle to return to the U. S. Constitution and not proposing your own form of illegal legislation. I heard Sarah Palin touting McCain and his insipidity in an interview the other day. I say forget Palin. We need people willing to stand for what they say in spite of any criticism they might receive. Those of us who are tired of the current way of doing things in Washington could use the powerful infrastructure of the Republican political machine. However, we have the message and the Republican Party is dead if they don't get on board with us.
King Obama is naked just as I said before he was elected. The imaginary robe that Gibbs, Axelrod and others are trying to get us to believe he has on, just isn't there. He is, I believe, the most unqualified president in recent history. Not only in the sense of preparedness, but also in a legal sense. I say if any money still exists from TARP, or any of the other failed bailouts, it should be immediately applied to debt reduction. The Democrats can blame the Republicans for eight years of continued government spending and growth under the Bush administration, and they would be right. However, they controlled the legislature where these illegal pork ladened bills were spawned, and they had the leaders in control of the failing socialist give away programs of Democrats from years past. So, although the Republicans caved on their principals of fiscal and social conservatism, they maintained our integrity through a strong defense and foreign policy. Our enemies were afraid to act, and we were returning our intelligence gathering efforts to an acceptable level once again. Now, all that is gone. THE REAL BLAME FOR OUR CURRENT SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS CAN BE LAID SQUARELY AT THE DOOR STEP OF SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS SINCE WOODROW WILSON. We have been sold to our enemies for a bowl of porridge. We must immediately expose and get rid of all those interlopers who are trying to bring about our slavery to a globalist/socialist society and get rid of the weaklings who won't represent our interests properly.
The only thing that overcomes hard luck is hard work.

Quit Treading on Me
I just can't watch the guy. I know he is the president, but I cannot stand to even hear him when he supersedes all programing to tell us how, "I the transparent, diverse and all knowing divine one have something of monumental importance to tell you." Why? Because he has no provable background in anything. Because he is about as transparent as a steel reinforced cement wall, and because lying is as easy as opening his yap. I have pointed all this up before, but every time I hear a new snippet, I feel like running my head through the nearest wall. Truthfully, I haven't been able to listen to much any president, since Reagan, has said. However, Obama rates right up there with toothaches, and the flu in my list of things I could do without from now on.He and his fellow power drunk cronies, Reid, Pelosi, Franks, Hoyer, Dodd, Waxman, and the not so heavenly host of other Democrats persist in blaming everyone but themselves for the dismal economic mess we are wallowing in. But, yesterday, Obama came down hard on the banking industry telling them to make more loans, while at the same time federal regulators, czars, and overseers have a stranglehold on the entire nation. I remember when our first black president, Bill Clinton, did the same with the mortgage industry by threatening reprisals if they didn't make loans to unqualified applicants who were part of the great Democrat plan aimed at social engineering. Now, those responsible for the lack of oversight at Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, (government run programs providing direct competition to private institutions - but using taxpayer money) just can't recall they had any part in doing so. These irresponsible actions by the Democrats led directly to the collapse of the mortgage industry and Wall Street we faced at the end of the Bush administration. Bush was forced into an alliance with those responsible, to include Senator Barack Hussein Obama, in order to avoid a catastrophic collapse of the economy in passing the TARP resolution. The Democrat reaction was then to blame Bush for the collapse with loud ranting and allegations of ineptness in order to draw the country's attention away from the real culprits. His lordship has continued with this hackneyed rhetoric in every speech he has given since ascending the throne. To the majority of his constituents, radicals, labor leaders, brain dead academics, and those who remain in blissful ignorance, it may fly, but to any citizen with the ability to see beyond some single issue and focus on the basics of our nation's success, it is pure bunk.
We need to put the brakes on big time. We cannot afford to spend one more dime of hard earned taxpayer funds for ridiculous programs. I get angry to the point of wanting to be present, so I can dough pop some of these moronic power drunk legislators, when they are asked about the constitutionality of their current proposed and recently passed legislation. They smugly turn up their noses and condescendingly laugh at the thought that they, the almighty majority, should be bothered by the U. S. Constitution. Senator Mary L. Landrieu, (D-LA), whose vote on the health care bill was recently bought with a $100,000,000.00 earmark, said when asked the question that, the Senate has constitutional lawyers to answer those questions. Apparently they are on vacation, or the Democrat majorities in the Senate and House are not listening to them either. They took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. What happens when they are the majority and enemies of the United States at the same time? I can tell you, exactly what we are experiencing today.
I am sick of their brazen lies. This country belongs to its voting citizens and not to those for whom they vote.
"[A] wise and frugal government ... shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government." --Thomas Jefferson
"Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the governance of any others."
