ILLEGAL Aliens

What is it about illegal aliens our president doesn't get?

You don't have to like the law, but it is the law.  Those who enter our country without going through the established legal channels are CRIMINALS.  Many talk about the rights of those who come here illegally.
They do have rights related to their treatment after capture.  They have no rights to anything else here in our country.

I live in one of the most porous areas of our nation here in south Texas.  There are tens of thousands of illegal aliens here.  We feed them, hire them, clothe them, treat them medically, educate them, and jail them when they break other laws.  None of them contribute one red cent to the U. S. Treasury.  Their earnings (cash) are not subject to withholding. so they make more per hour than those who are here legally.

They are not cleared medically upon entry, so they bring in all sorts of dangerous diseases.  Most of those from Mexico are easily recognized by dress, physical size and appearance, and behavior.  But, not all those entering this country are from the "Latin Nations",  many are Asian, Middle Eastern, and other ethnicities  who are blocked because of their danger to the U. S.

Those who are either here from Mexico legally, or who are American citizens who were born here and have Hispanic surnames, are not in favor of giving amnesty to those who have circumvented the system.  So, it is not a racial issue, but a legal issue.  People who live here know how much of a drain these illegal aliens place on our local, state, and national economies.

Our president is clueless on most issues, and his comments and position on the illegal immigration problem is further evidence of why he should be removed from office.

Everyone must provide proof of citizenship on a regular basis.  Local law enforcement should have a legal policy in place to handle those who are obviously here illegally.

We must expel those people who are here illegally, and we must make a greater effort to seal our borders to uncontrolled entry.  No country can survive unrestrained illegal immigration.

  1. Pappy, I cannot agree more. I am very upset the the Democrats, the liberals, etc., want us; the tax payers, to pay for all their needs. Plus we are now having more problems with drugs. Something has to give. I am TIRED of being politically correct. I think it's time true Americans stand up and say, "No more" to all this garbage.

  2. I agree that illegals are a problem. The borders need to be secured in some sort of reasonable fashion, though I have not a clue what that would be.

I agree that illegals should be deported.

It might surprise you to know that I cautiously support the bill recently passed in Arizona although I do see the potential for abuse.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the last president didn't do a damned thing about the illegal situation either. It isn't about the president per se, but rather about the politics of it all. Frankly, I don't understand.

Personally, I think are immigration laws are antiquated, ponderous, confusing, often draconian, and are in bad need of an overhaul.

  3. Good article. Boy, do I agree! I remember too when "W" was making snide comments about the local people protecting the borders. That really made me angry. Protecting our borders is something the Fed's are suppose to be taking care of but they haven't for years.

After visiting y'all this year, I had no idea there were so many illegals in south Texas. That whole south Texas area is rapidly becoming a 3rd world country of it's own. It's becoming a real situation for ya, I know. Maybe local legal people could patrol the border? Ask the school teachers to quit teaching them! Kick 'em out. Get the merchants together and refuse to serve them. Ostracized the illegals and maybe they'll get Fed up and go home.

    That's my never-to-be-humble opinion.

  4. We must not let the federal government dictate their philosophical social programs to a populace that realizes the futility of such programs. It is not racist as they would have others believe. It is a matter of getting control of spending and expecting responsible behavior from all citizens.

As an old law dog I can tell you there is potential for abuse in all enforcement of laws. We must pay attention to the people we hire to do the job. If you hire responsible people and not rely on arbitrary racial quotas and other artificial criteria, you can cut down on the instances where bad judgments are made.

No one since Reagan has made an effort to stem the tide. All these politicians of late have sacrificed our country for their own political voting base. I can tell you from experience, the only Latinos who will be offended by laws preventing ILLEGAL entry will be the ILLEGALS.

You are right Buff. The current laws need to be tightened up and pared down. The Immigration statutes are almost as confusing as the Internal Revenue statutes.

The media would have you believe that those who rally for our constitutional rights are radical right wingers. My experience with the group here is not at all like that. We have people from all political persuasions who are tired of being treated like step-children by politicians and are ready to vote them out and elect some who will respond to their constituents' wishes. Thanks for commenting. Pappy

  5. The other calculated motive for allowing this dereliction of constitutional duty is purely political. They want to create a new base of voters who they can control and place on the dole. Both parties are guilty of this travesty. In many places, especially the Southwest this is already occurring.

  6. Amnesty to the illegals is part of the Democrats plan to make a permanent majority for themselves. Obama's plan to give amnesty to illegals is right out of Alinsky's play book. Moreover, Obama sympathizes with them because he's illegal himself.

There's an interesting article at Pajamas Media about the problem is that the welfare state is the draw for the illegals.

  7. MOVING TO MEXICO

    Dear Mr. President:

I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me.

We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico , and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.

I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way over?

Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:

    1. Free medical care for my entire family.

    2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.

    3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.

    4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

    5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.

    6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.

    7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

    8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.

    9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico but I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.

    10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.

    11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U. S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

    12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.

    13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.

    14. I want to receive free food stamps.

    15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.

    16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government.

    17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $4,500 to help me buy a new car.

    18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico . I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help. You're the man!!!
